Tom Durance has pastored TrueVine Pentecostal Church in Temecula, CA for nine years. Prior to pastoring, Tom served under Pastor Art Hodges III as the evangelism pastor of South Bay Pentecostal Church for over 12 years. He currently serves as the Home Missions Director for the SoCal District.
When Tom anwered the call to pastor in Temecula in January of 2000, the church was a small congregation of only 15-20 members. Today, TrueVine is a thriving church in the Temecula Valley with great vision for the future. God has blessed us with a beautiful sanctuary that seats 150, a cutting edge youth center and a fun-filled KidZone. We are currently striving to consistently break the 150 barrier.
Art Hodges was elected the District Superintendent at the formation of the new SoCal District in January of 2008. He has served as pastor of South Bay Pentecostal Church for the past 24 years. Pastor Hodges brings a wealth of experience from his time serving on the Western District board and has become a well-respected leader in our movement. He has also served in a variety of other capacities, including church growth coordinator for the Home Missions Division and a member of the HMAC commitee.
Kenneth F. Haney was elected as General Superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church International on October 10, 2001, at the UPCI General Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. Prior to that, he had been the full‑time Pastor of Christian Life Center for thirty years and had lived in Stockton most of his life. On January 1, 2002, Brother Haney and his wife, Joy Haney, moved to St. Louis, Missouri, to begin their new responsibilities.
Brother Haney is the sixth person to hold the position of General Superintendent since its inception in 1945, and was the Assistant General Superintendent for six years prior to his election as General Superintendent. In addition, he served as the International Youth President of the UPCI from 1969 to 1972.
Kenneth Haney has been married to Joy McDonald Haney for forty eight years. She is the author of fifty four books and is an international speaker. They are the parents of five children and nine grandchildren.
Tom Foster is a visionary and much sought after conference speaker. He has been in ministry for over 30 years and has served in many different capacities on the local, district and national level. He currently serves as Church Growth Coordinator for the UPCI and as a UPCI Sunday School Director.
Reverend Foster is the founder of Growth Strategies and the Closer Than Close Conference. In 1982 he moved to Dallas, Texas to accept the pastorate of Dallas First Church. From the early beginnings of about one hundred and fifty members to the current roster of over seven hundred, Pastor Foster’s infectious positive attitude has been the steering mechanism by which the entire assembly is directed.
Pastor Tommy Hudson is the founder/Pastor of New Life Bible Church and has held numerous leadership positions within the United Pentecostal Church International. His vision for lost souls has led to eight daughter works; 5 in New Mexico and 3 in Arizona. He has also been instrumental in extending the Word of God into federal prisons, ladies facilities, and youth correctional facilities. He also previously served as the Arizona District Superintendant.
